Manya walked into SICS with strong grades and no idea how to convert them into a funded offer abroad. Ninety seconds of her story covers eight months of structured work — shortlisting, SOP craft, English scores, financials and the F-1 visa file that ended with New York University.
The journey, step by step
- Step 01
Counselling
Profile mapped against ambitious, balanced and safe US universities with year-one cost for each.
- Step 02
Applications
SOP rewritten for each course; offers tracked until the New York University admit landed.
- Step 03
English test
IELTS prep in-house, mocks scored to band descriptors until the target band was safe.
- Step 04
Funding
Scholarship stacking plus a Sage Eduloan sanction timed to the visa window.
- Step 05
Visa
F-1 interview rehearsed, I-20 and financials verified, visa stamped without a single query.
- Step 06
Landing
Pre-departure briefing on forex, housing and the first month in New York.
